Mixed Cohesion is an up-and-coming magazine showcasing the finest of Austin’s local flora, fauna, and flavor and we’re looking to put together a team of writers to report on the goings-on of this truly unique city. Writers will cover a spectrum of topics, namely music, politics, literature and the arts. Mixed Cohesion aims to highlight local bands, artists, writers, issues and events in a voice as distinct and fresh as ATX. So if you’ve got mad word skillz and a passion for the pulse of this city, please send us your résumé, a writing sample (no more than 300 words), and a few points about why you want to be part of the Mixed Cohesion team. Also include which topic you’re most interested in and knowledgeable about covering: music, politics, film/theatre, literature, or visual arts.

**Please be aware that NO monetary compensation can be promised at this time. However, there are some perks, such as beefing up your résumé or portfolio, going to cool shows and events for free, and bragging to your friends about how much harder you rock now that you write for the hippest magazine in town. Yeah!
